Hockey India has revealed its 18-member squad for the upcoming Bihar Women’s Asian Champions Trophy Rajgir 2024. Set to take place from November 11 to 20 at the state-of-the-art Rajgir Hockey Stadium in Bihar, this tournament promises high stakes as India enters as the defending champions after claiming victory at last year’s edition in Ranchi. The team will face strong contenders, including current Olympic silver medalists China, alongside Japan, Korea, Malaysia, and Thailand, in a bid for regional supremacy.
Salima Tete, a formidable midfielder, has been named captain of the team, with Navneet Kaur stepping in as vice-captain. Under their leadership, India aims to bring home the title once again, reflecting their rigorous preparation and deep commitment to victory.
