Junior Doctors take out rally from Shyambazar to Dharmatala demanding justice for RG Kar

The West Bengal Junior Doctors’ Forum launched a rally in Kolkata on Wednesday to seek justice for a colleague who was raped and murdered at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital on August 9.

The rally began at Shyambazar and will conclude at Dharmatala. The Forum opted not to join the student-organized march to the state secretariat, Nabanna, held on Tuesday.

Amid all the chaos, it has been nearly 20 days since the junior doctor of RG Kar medical college was brutally raped and murdered. Till now, only Sanjay Roy has been arrested while ex-principal Sandip Ghosh is facing regular interrogations and investigations by CBI.
