The event was part of the 'Her Story – My Story' lecture series featuring women Padma Awardees, where Saina Nehwal, a prominent Indian sportsperson honored with Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan, interacted with the audience following the match. Reflecting on the experience, Nehwal expressed gratitude, stating, "What a memorable day of my life. Thank you so much, President Ma’am, for playing badminton with me."
