Governor CV Anand Bose has voiced his dismay over the reported 'attack' on National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials in Bhupatinagar. According to insider sources, Governor Bose engaged in discussions with high-ranking AIN officials late on Saturday night, seeking clarity on the incident. On Saturday morning, he visited the site himself and received a detailed briefing on the sequence of events leading to the purported attack, as well as the reasons behind the presence of NIA officials in the area. Raj Bhavan sources reveal that the Governor, upon gaining insight into the situation, demanded a comprehensive report to be compiled.
The incident unfolded on Saturday when NIA officers were allegedly assaulted during their visit to investigate the Bhupatinagar blast case. Reports suggest that the central agency's vehicles were subjected to vandalism during the altercation, with two NIA officers reportedly sustaining minor injuries.
