AAP announces 1000 per month to women if voted back to power
Tension continues to grip Moyna in West Bengal after two BJP workers were allegedly beaten up by unidentified miscreants on Thursday night.
The incident reportedly occurred after a meeting held by the state's opposition leader Subvendu Adhikari, causing an uproar in the area. BJP leadership, including Adhikari, participated in a dhikkar march protesting the death of the party's district booth president Vijaykrishna Bhuiya.
While returning home after the meeting, two BJP workers were allegedly beaten up and left on the street. BJP has blamed the Trinamool Congress for the incident and demanded a CBI probe. However, the police have not received any complaint in this regard.
The incident has added a new dimension to the already tense political atmosphere ahead of the upcoming panchayat elections.
