British rock sensation Coldplay has added a second concert date in Ahmedabad after tickets for their initial show on January 25 sold out within minutes of going live. Fans of the iconic band can now catch them perform at the Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25 and 26, 2025, as part of their highly anticipated Music of the Spheres world tour.
The announcement came after fans flooded social media, expressing their disappointment over not securing tickets for the first performance. Coldplay’s team swiftly responded to the overwhelming demand by scheduling a second show, much to the excitement of Indian fans. Both performances will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium, one of the largest stadiums in the world, renowned for hosting global events.
This marks Coldplay’s return to India after a nine-year hiatus. The band last performed in the country in 2016 during the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai. Known for their spectacular live performances, featuring dazzling light shows and interactive crowd experiences, Coldplay's return has been one of the most awaited events for Indian music enthusiasts.
Ahmedabad is not the only Indian city on Coldplay’s itinerary. Earlier, the band announced three shows in Mumbai, scheduled for January 18, 19, and 21, 2025. With five concerts now confirmed, Indian fans are gearing up for what promises to be a memorable start to the year.
