A huge fire breaks out in a residential building at Kolkata's Burrabazar on Tuesday. According to the inputs received, the building is located on Darpnarayan Tagore Street. It is being reported that several people are trapped inside the burning building. The building is the backside of BJP Councillor Mina Devi Purohit's house.
Upon receiving information, fire tenders promptly arrived at the scene. According to eyewitnesses, there are numerous warehouses in the surrounding vicinity. As such, the firefighters' primary objective is to prevent the fire from spreading. Due to the narrowness of the area and the high volume of pedestrian traffic, utmost caution is required to ensure public safety.
