A man inserted a compressed air pipe into the 19-year-old car cleaner's private part after the two got into an argument, police told.
Accused Mohit opened the valve of the pipeline after the insertion, police added.
The 19-year-old was identified as Vijay, who worked as a car cleaner at a petrol pump in Rakesh Marg under Sihani Gate police station in Uttar Pradesh. He was hospitalized after the incident and is said to be in critical condition.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Alok Dubey told that the two had an argument on Saturday, after which Mohit assaulted Vijay. Mohit then inserted the nozzle of the pressurized air pipe into Vijay's private part and opened the air valve. Accused Mohit was also sitting on Vijay, Dubey added.
An FIR has been lodged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and an investigation has been initiated. According to the police, the accused is absconding since the incident and efforts are on to nab him.
