Speeding bus mows down pedestrian at MG Road more, driver flee
The epitome of courage and motherly love, a 45-year-old woman died in Chhattisgarh's Korba district on Sunday while fighting a wild boar to save her 11-year-old daughter. The incident happened at Teliamar village in Pasan forest area of the district.
A woman identified as Duvsia Bai and her daughter Rinki had gone to work in a farm where Rinki was attacked by a wild boar. Seeing this, Duvsia bai risked her life to save her daughter and entered into battle with the wild animal. The woman continued to fight and the fight lasted for about half an hour.
Unfortunately, Duvsia Bai lost her life in the fight, but she also killed the wild beast, saving her daughter from the attack. Rinki, who was injured, ran towards the village and informed everyone. Villagers soon gathered at the spot after which the forest department and police team reached the spot and swung into action.
Rinki was admitted to Pasan Government Hospital for treatment.
