At least three people were killed and several others were seriously injured after a moving bus hit a divider and overturned on the Jamuna Expressway in Uttar Pradesh. The accident took place when the double-decker bus was heading to Delhi from Bihar.
Three people died on the spot and more than a dozen people were seriously injured, district officer Pulkit Khare said, adding that 30 people were evacuated from the bus. The injured were taken to hospitals for treatment.
After receiving information about the accident, senior officials of the district office and the police reached the spot.
