Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan is still holding its own at the box office and the worldwide collections now stand at a gross of 1,016 crores. Directed by Siddharth Anand, Yash Raj Films' Pathaan is an all-time blockbuster and is already the highest grossing Hindi film worldwide with collections of Rs 1016 crore gross till date.
The film has been on a great journey since its release at the domestic and foreign box office. Pathaan, on the fifth Saturday, was firm again at the box office and held firm. It collected Rs 1.98 crore nett in India, including Rs 1.95 crore from the Hindi version and Rs 0.03 crore from all dubbed versions.
Pathaan also recorded $46.58 million in overseas territories alone, while the net collection in India stands at Rs 523.16 crore, including Rs 505.05 crore from the Hindi version and Rs 18.11 crore from the dubbed versions. The total worldwide gross is a whopping Rs 1016 crore, including an Indian gross of Rs 633 crore and an overseas gross of Rs 383 crore)!
Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh Tweeted the box office numbers of Pathaan on his Twitter account and wrote, “Pathaan in national chains.*5. week*: Fri / Sat. PVR: 25 lacs / 53 lacs INOX: 18 lacs / 38 lacs Cinepolis: 10 lacs / 23 lacs.”
Shah Rukh Khan is back as the leading man with Pathaan. The actor was last seen in Anand L Rai's Zero in 2018. He appeared in R. Madhavan's Rocketry: The Nambi Effect and Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, directed by Ayan Mukerji.
The film also stars Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana.
Pathaan comes after Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai and War from Aditya Chopra's ambitious spy universe.
