SC halts mosque survey orders, restricts lower courts in pending cases
Kartik Aaryan's Shehzada released on February 17 and witnessed lukewarm response at the domestic box office. The film released with the success of Pathaan but failed to pick up momentum in the last week. Early estimates suggest that the Rohit Dhawan directorial failed to create magic in the second weekend.

Shehzada was refueling at the cash register. The film collected Rs 40 crore at the box office on Friday, February 24. Its occupancy was around 9% in night shows. The total collection is around Rs 27 crore. The film faced competition from Pathaan, Hollywood film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and now Selfie. According to Sacnik's report, early estimates suggest that the film could not reach Rs 1 crore and earned Rs 0.70 crore on its second Saturday. The real numbers are yet to come.

Shehzada was released in theatres on 17 February. Bankrolled by Kartik Aaryan, Bhushan Kumar, Allu Arvind and Aman Gill, the film has music by Pritam. Shehzada marks the return of Kartik Aaryan to the silver screen after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 directed by Anees Bazmee which turned out to be a blockbuster. The action film is directed by Rohit Dhawan and co-produced by T-Series Films, Haarika & Hassine Creations, Geetha Arts and Brat Films.
Shehzad also stars Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Rajpal Yadav, Ronit Roy and Sachin Khedekar. The plot of the film follows a young man named Bantu, who has been hated and neglected by his father since childhood. His world is turned upside down when he learns that he was switched at birth with the son of a millionaire. He is actually the biological son of a millionaire industrialist.
