SC halts mosque survey orders, restricts lower courts in pending cases
A fake call center in Sector Five was raided by the police of Bidhannagar Electronics Complex, resulting in the arrest of 35 individuals, including the primary perpetrator Krishna Sharma. Police sources indicate that they received information from their sources before conducting the raid at Argo Tower, located in Sector Five of Salt Lake.
The police uncovered a fraudulent enterprise operating under the name Krishna Infotech within room number 1005. Upon raiding the premises, the police apprehended 35 individuals and confiscated various items, including mobile phones, computers, laptops, hard disks, and routers.
According to police sources, the suspects used Voice over Internet Protocol to make calls to citizens of numerous countries, including the United States. The fraudsters posing as employees of their own insurance companies would deceive their victims and take their foreign currency under the guise of providing insurance.
The police arrested 35 individuals, with Krishna Sharma, the main accused, for their involvement in the illegal operation.
