AAP announces 1000 per month to women if voted back to power
Kolkata's Alipore Court on Thursday extended the jail custody of Kuntal Ghosh, Niladri Ghosh, and Tapas Mandal in connection with the recruitment corruption case. CBI produced the trio before the court today. All three are consistently blaming each other along with some other people for taking money for illegally providing teaching jobs.
Earlier, Enforcement Directorate on Friday submitted before the special CBI court that Trinamul Congress youth leader from Hooghly, Kuntal Ghosh, had allegedly collected Rs 20 lakh each from some candidates for allegedly getting them recruited as teachers for classes IX and X in state-aided schools.
Tapas Mandal is a close aide of Manik Bhattacharya, who was the former president of the West Bengal primary education board, and Niladri Ghosh is a middleman considered to be close to Mandal.
During interrogation, Kuntal Ghosh claimed several times that Tapas Mondal and his aide Niladri Ghosh were also directly involved in the scam and they conspired against him.
