Late on Saturday, the police conducted further searches in Lalmohanpur under the supervision of DSP Ayan Sadhu. During the search, a large drum filled with bombs was discovered.
According to police sources, drums containing explosives were recovered from five different locations, including Turukbarihat and Manikpur under the Sadaipur police station. The police estimate that there may be more than 80 bombs in total.
As of Sunday, all the bombs have been safely defused. However, the identity of those who deposited the bombs and their intended purpose remains unknown. No arrests have been made in connection with this incident. The police have increased patrolling and searches throughout the entire district in response to these developments.
