Earlier on Tuesday, Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Archana Beniwal sent Gehlot (24) to five-day police custody. Among those sent to police custody on Friday are Sahil's father Virender Singh, his cousins Naveen and Ashish and friends Lokesh and Amar. Naveen is a police constable.
The five were produced at the duty judge's residence, a judicial source said. Police said five co-accused were arrested after their involvement in the murder was established. Police initially said Gehlot, after his arrest on February 14, confessed to killing Yadav because she was pressuring him to marry her.
Gehlot and five co-accused will be produced in court on Monday after their police custody expires.
