Speeding bus mows down pedestrian at MG Road more, driver flee
A tragic incident occurred in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor when a 14-year-old girl, Aditi, was attacked by a leopard while she was going to a temple with her mother on Friday evening. The incident took place in Chhota Kiratpur village under Nagina police station. Unfortunately, Aditi succumbed to her injuries and died at a community health center where she was taken for treatment.
Wildlife experts believe that incidents like this one are not uncommon in India, where humans and wild animals often come into conflict due to the encroachment of human settlements on animal habitats. This conflict has become more frequent in recent years due to the loss of natural habitats and the declining population of wild animals.
According to Circle Officer Sangram Singh, the leopard attacked Aditi suddenly, and hearing her cries, the villagers raised an alarm, causing the leopard to flee the scene. The local police and forest department officials have launched an investigation into the incident and are attempting to locate the leopard.
Wildlife experts recommend that the authorities take preventive measures to avoid such incidents in the future, such as building strong fences around villages and educating people on how to protect themselves from wild animals.
