Mamata calls urgent meeting at Nabanna tomorrow, key administrative officials to attend
The RPF on Wednesday recovered gold ornaments worth Rs 1.57 million from a person belonging to Rajasthan, besides cash of Rs 18.37 million from two persons from Haryana at Gaya railway station.
RPF Gaya Senior Inspector Ajay Prakash said, “While patrolling Gaya railway station, RPF personnel apprehended a person who got off the first AC coach of Howrah-Jodhpur Express with a bag on his back.
When questioned, the person said he was wearing gold ornaments. On checking the bag, gold ornaments weighing around 2.756 kg were found.
The person identified himself as a resident of Rajasthan's Bikaner district.
