On February 11, the Deoghar police arrested eight persons in connection with a gunfight at Machhli Bazar locality under the city police station limits in Deoghar district, in which two policemen were killed.
The deceased policemen have been identified as Ravi Mishra and Santosh Yadav. They were deployed as bodyguards of local businessman Sudhakar Suman Jha, whose house was allegedly attacked by his rival Pappu Singh of the same locality.
The Deoghar police said on Thursday that three FIRs have been lodged at the city police station.
Those arrested were identified as Sudhakar Suman Jha, Putti Devi, Dashrath Kumar, Devlal Hembrom, Priyesh Kumar, Anand Kumar, Priyanshu Kumar and Vishal Kumar.
