A press release allegedly circulated by Maoists and their supporters in Jharkhand calls for the arrest of Gautam Adani and accuses him of stealing public funds. Besides, the release calls for the arrest of RBI Governor, SBI Chairman and LIC Director for having gloves with Adani.
The statement, which appears to have been released by the North Subzonal Bureau, Dandakaranya and is signed by its spokesperson Mangli, calls for the expulsion of Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Shah and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman, among others, for their support for Adani.
The notice calls on the people to forcefully drive the RSS and BJP out of the villages. The notice also mentions the Hindenburg report and claims that Adani has wasted seven lakh crores of people's money.
A senior police official in the Jharkhand capital expressed surprise at the dismissal. “I haven't succeeded yet. The Special Branch has not yet provided us with any such information. Let me check at my own level,” SP (Rural) Ranchi Naushad Alam said.
