Speeding bus mows down pedestrian at MG Road more, driver flee
A realtor has accused a woman and her two sons of duping him of Rs 1.75 crore in the name of selling a plot. After registering the FIR, the police started an investigation.
Kamlesh Chandra Sharma, a real estate dealer and a resident of Pandunagar, claimed in his complaint that he met Ram Avtar, a resident of Hathipur of Narwal, and his family some time ago, who gave him a proposal to buy land belonging to Raj Kumari in Hathipur village.
The deal was done for Rs 4.12 crore. Raj Kumari, her sons Manish and Satish took Rs 1.75 crore as deposit over a period of time and sealed the deal. Kamlesh alleged that when he asked for the register, they started evasively demanding more cash and even threatened him with dire consequences.
On Saturday, he met Police Commissioner BP Jogdand and told him about his ordeal. On the orders of the CP, an FIR was lodged against Raj Kumari, her two sons under relevant sections of the IPC, including cheating.
In-charge Kotwali Sharadendu Pandey confirmed that an FIR was registered on Sunday and investigation is on. "Further action will be taken based on the evidence and other relevant findings," he added.
