Speeding bus mows down pedestrian at MG Road more, driver flee
A pediatric surgeon at King George's Medical University (KGMU) saved the life of a seven-year-old boy suffering from a rare congenital condition called a choledochal cyst.
The operation was performed laparoscopically on January 25. The boy was released on Tuesday.
In this condition, the bile duct swells and blocks the flow of bile juice from the liver to the gallbladder and intestines needed for digestion.
The boy, Aans, a resident of Barabanki, was admitted to KGMU on January 20. He suffered from acute stomach pain and vomiting.
