Bengal fake passport racket exposed: Ties to human trafficking and illegal migration uncovered

A major fake passport racket has been uncovered in West Bengal, with strong evidence linking it to illegal migration and possible human trafficking activities. The operation was based in Dattapukur, where Moktar Alam, a key figure in the racket, was arrested. Investigations have revealed that the racket was involved in producing fraudulent Indian passports, both for men and women, to facilitate illegal immigration from Bangladesh into India. Authorities reported that the applicants paid between 4 to 5 lakh rupees for these forged documents.
