Man dies after falling from roof in Murshidabad

A tragic incident occurred in Rajpur, Murshidabad, on Wednesday night, when 38-year-old Biplab Mondal fell from the roof of his under-construction house. The fall happened between 9:30 PM and 10:00 PM. According to family sources, Biplab had spent the entire day working on the roof pouring for his new house. After working for several hours, he went to rest in the evening. Later, he went back to the roof, where he unexpectedly fell.

Biplab sustained severe head injuries from the fall. His family rushed him to the nearby Godhanpara Rural Hospital, where the attending doctor declared him dead. Following the incident, the local police were notified and arrived at the scene. The body was recovered and sent for post-mortem at Murshidabad Medical College Hospital to determine the exact cause of death.

An investigation has been initiated by the police. The circumstances surrounding the fall are being looked into, although initial reports suggest that no foul play is suspected. The incident has deeply affected the family, and the community has expressed shock at the untimely death of Biplab, who was working hard to complete his home.
