Speeding bus mows down pedestrian at MG Road more, driver flee
A tragic accident occurred on Monday morning in the Piratla area of Murshidabad, resulting in the death of a two-and-a-half-year-old child, Ramiz Sheikh. Ramiz was playing on the roof of his home with his cousin, engaging in a game where they were throwing bricks. During the game, Ramiz accidentally lost his balance and fell from the roof.
Family members who heard the sound of the fall immediately rushed to the spot. Ramiz was quickly taken to the Hariharpara Primary Health Center for initial treatment. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was later transferred to Murshidabad Medical College Hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead at the hospital.
The child’s aunt, who was on the roof at the time of the incident, stated that she had been cleaning the roof while her son played below. She mentioned that Ramiz and his cousin were throwing bricks from the roof, with Ramiz positioned in a different spot when he fell. Emergency medical assistance was provided immediately after the fall, but despite efforts to save him, the child could not survive.
