Speeding bus mows down pedestrian at MG Road more, driver flee
A 17-year-old boy, Nilav Bandopadhyay, died after falling from the 19th floor of Tower 11 in a residential complex in Panchasayar on Tuesday. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Nilav was declared dead by medical staff. Nilav, a student, lived with his family in the high-rise building. His father, Dr. Kalyan Bandopadhyay, a physician, was reportedly at the scene when the incident occurred.
Panchasayar police have initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the fall. Authorities are looking into whether the incident was an accident, suicide, or if foul play was involved. The balcony from which Nilav fell is located at a significant height. Investigators are questioning family members and neighbors to understand any possible factors or interactions that could have led to the event.
