Youth jumps to death from Ballygunge building, suicide note & medication found

A 23-year-old man, Bhavishya Balani, was found dead under a building on Balygunge Circular Road, Kolkata, on Wednesday morning. The body was discovered around 8 AM by local residents, who noticed it lying in a pool of blood beneath the apartment complex at 42/A Balygunge Circular Road. Police were immediately informed, and they arrived at the scene to recover the body, which was then sent to the hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Balani was a resident of the fourth floor of the building. According to reports, residents in the building heard a loud noise from above, followed by a scream, prompting them to check outside. Upon looking down, they saw the young man’s body on the ground below. During the investigation, police recovered a note from Balani’s pocket, which contained some written content. Additionally, a small quantity of medication, typically prescribed for mental health issues, was found in his possession.
