Virat Kohli hammered a historic century as India declared their innings at 487/6 against Australia on Day 3 of the first Test in Perth. Australia now needs a total of 534 runs to win the match. Kohli scored 100* but Yashasvi Jaiswal was the star performer with his magnificent knock of 161.
Apart from them, KL Rahul and Nitish Kumar Reddy also scored 77 and 38* runs respectively. For Australia, Nathan Lyon scalped two wickets while Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Marsh, and Pat Cummins took one wicket each.
"Anushka has been right by my side through thick and thin. She knows everything that goes on behind the scenes. Knows what goes on in the head when you're not performing well. I'm not a guy who hangs around for the sake of it. I take pride in performing for the country," said Kohli after his century.
