Medinipur goldsmith dies in motorcycle crash while taking sick mother to doctor

A motorcycle crash occurred in Dharma village, West Medinipur, claiming the life of 18-year-old Vishal Dolo, a goldsmith by profession. The accident took place near Rabidaspur, under the Daspur police station jurisdiction, when Vishal, riding his newly purchased motorcycle, lost control and crashed into a palm tree along the roadside. Vishal was taking his sick mother to a doctor, with his mother riding as a passenger on a neighbor's motorcycle at the time of the crash.

According to local sources, Vishal was riding alone, while his mother traveled separately with the neighbor. The crash occurred on a stretch of road in the area, where Vishal reportedly failed to regain control of his vehicle. The force of the collision resulted in fatal injuries, and Vishal died at the scene. Police arrived shortly after the incident and retrieved the body, which was subsequently sent for post-mortem.

Authorities from the Daspur police station have confirmed that they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. No other injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing to determine whether road conditions or mechanical failure played a role in the accident.
