Bankura high-speed bus race leads to crash with engine van, 3 injured

A high-speed race between two passenger buses led to a serious accident at the MIT crossing in Bishnupur, Bankura. As the overtaking bus lost control, it veered off the road and struck the engine van, which had been parked by the side of the highway. The impact of the crash sent various items from the engine van, including a microphone box and other equipment, flying into the adjacent jungle.

Emergency responders were alerted to the scene, and the three passengers in the engine van were immediately transported to Bishnupur Super Speciality Hospital for medical treatment. The extent of their injuries required urgent care, and all three victims remain under observation. The police arrived shortly after the crash, securing the area and conducting initial assessments.
