Amit Shah accuses JMM-Congress leaders of looting Jharkhand’s funds, vows strict action if BJP wins

Union Home Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah delivered a strong statement against the JMM-Congress alliance during a rally in Jharia, Jharkhand, as part of the BJP’s campaign for the state assembly elections. Shah accused the alliance of large-scale corruption, alleging that crores of rupees seized from leaders of the Congress and JMM were looted from public funds. He called on voters to support the BJP, pledging to take stringent action against those responsible for the alleged embezzlement if his party wins the state elections.

Speaking to the crowd, Shah stated, “Here crores of rupees have been seized from Congress and JMM leaders, all this money belongs to the youth and mothers and sisters of Jharia and Dhanbad. You form the BJP government, we will straighten out the looters of these crores of rupees by hanging them upside down.” Shah added that the BJP would recover all looted money and ensure it was deposited back into Jharkhand’s treasury. He claimed the funds were intended for the welfare of the state’s youth, tribal communities, and economically disadvantaged residents.

Shah also criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of making unfulfilled election promises. He claimed that “Rahul Baba makes many announcements which are not fulfilled,” while contrasting this with the BJP’s record. He assured voters of the BJP’s commitment to fulfilling all promises made during the election, adding, “Modi’s guarantee is written in stone. We will fulfill every guarantee.”

Highlighting the significance of the upcoming elections, Shah urged the people of Jharkhand to vote on November 13 and 20, stating, “Your one vote will decide whether you want JMM, which makes itself a millionaire-billionaire, or you want Narendra Modi’s government, which makes poor mothers Lakhpati Didi.”

On the previous day, Shah announced that if the BJP wins, it would establish a committee to identify and remove “infiltrators” from Jharkhand. He assured voters that foreign infiltrators would not be allowed to claim tribal land by marrying tribal women. The Jharkhand assembly elections are scheduled for November 13 and 20, with results to be declared on November 23.
