Kremlin denies report of Trump-Putin call on Ukraine, calls it "Pure Fiction"

The Kremlin has firmly denied reports suggesting that Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President-elect Donald Trump had a phone conversation about the Ukraine conflict last week. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called the claims “completely false information” and “pure fiction,” stating that no such phone call had taken place. Peskov further clarified that there was no contact between the two leaders and emphasized that the reports were unsubstantiated.

Peskov also addressed questions regarding potential future conversations between Putin and Trump. He confirmed that there were "no concrete plans" for such talks at the moment, dismissing the notion that a conversation between the two was imminent. When asked about any possibility of communication between the leaders, Peskov remained clear that there were no scheduled engagements or discussions planned.
