The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has commenced its All India Executive Committee meeting at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Cow Science and Research Center in Gaugraam, Mathura. The two-day meeting, which began with a ceremonial floral tribute to Bharat Mata by Sar Sanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat and the General Secretary, marks a pivotal moment for the organization as it prepares for its upcoming centenary celebrations in 2025. This meeting is expected to lay the groundwork for various initiatives aimed at strengthening the RSS's influence and outreach across the nation.
Narendra Thakur, the All India Publicity Chief of the RSS, announced that the focus of the meeting will be on strategic planning related to the expansion of RSS activities. He revealed that the organization has identified five key themes for the centenary year, referred to as 'Panch Parivartan.' These themes encompass social harmony, family awakening, environmental sustainability, self-based lifestyles, and the promotion of civic duties. Each theme will be discussed in detail to outline actionable strategies that can be implemented at the grassroots level.
The meeting has drawn participation from a wide range of leaders representing all 46 provinces of the RSS. This includes the province and joint province heads, working leaders, and propagators, who are instrumental in executing the RSS’s vision and outreach programs. The diverse representation is expected to facilitate an exchange of ideas and best practices, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the organization’s initiatives.
In addition to discussing centenary preparations, the meeting's agenda includes a comprehensive review of the annual plan that was established during the All India Representative Assembly earlier this year. This review will focus on assessing the progress of ongoing projects, evaluating community engagement efforts, and identifying areas for improvement. The goal is to ensure that the RSS remains aligned with its mission of fostering a cohesive and integrated society.
Prominent leaders in attendance include Joint General Secretaries Dr. Krishna Gopal and Dr. C.A. Mukunda, along with other senior members such as Arun Kumar, Ramdatt Chakradhar, Alok Kumar, and Atul Limaye. Their collective experience and insights are anticipated to guide discussions and decision-making, ensuring that the meeting’s outcomes are both strategic and impactful.
Furthermore, the agenda will also address contemporary national issues highlighted in Dr. Bhagwat's recent address during the Vijayadashami festival. Topics such as national unity, cultural preservation, and social responsibility are expected to be focal points of discussion. By aligning its objectives with current socio-political challenges, the RSS aims to enhance its relevance and effectiveness in the modern context.
