A 14-year-old girl who went missing from Patiram has been successfully recovered in Delhi. The girl was reported missing by her family on October 16 after she failed to return home from a nearby shop where she had gone to purchase some items. Her sudden disappearance raised immediate concerns among her family and local authorities, prompting a thorough search operation.
Upon receiving the missing persons report, the Patiram police initiated an investigation into the case. The police worked diligently to gather information about the girl's last known whereabouts. During their investigation, it was revealed that the minor had been transported to Delhi, which shifted the focus of the search efforts. The police gathered intelligence that led them to believe she was still in the capital.
A special police team was formed and dispatched to Delhi to locate the girl. Upon arrival, the team collaborated with local law enforcement agencies to conduct a search. Their combined efforts proved fruitful, as they managed to find the girl safe and unharmed. She was recovered from an undisclosed location in the city, much to the relief of her family and the local community in Patiram.
After her recovery, the girl was brought back to Patiram late Wednesday night. Following standard procedure, she was taken to the Balurghat Child Welfare Committee (CWC) for further care and legal processing. Authorities confirmed that once all legal requirements are fulfilled, she will be reunited with her family, who have been anxiously awaiting her return.
Police officials have indicated that this case is linked to a romantic relationship, which could have played a role in her disappearance. However, as the investigation continues, no arrests have been made at this time. The authorities are committed to uncovering all the facts surrounding the case to ensure the safety of the minor and address any potential criminal activities involved.
