Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has officially launched its new logo and slogan, symbolizing trust, strength, and its expansive presence across India. The unveiling took place at BSNL's headquarters in New Delhi on Tuesday, led by Communications Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia. He emphasized that the new logo reflects the company's mission to provide secure, affordable, and reliable services to all.
In his address, Minister Scindia highlighted that BSNL has seen remarkable growth since introducing its 4G network, with customer numbers soaring from 7.5 million to 18 million in just six months. He noted that India is now among six countries worldwide that have developed their own 4G networks, with plans to transition to 5G soon.
Alongside the logo launch, BSNL introduced seven new services aimed at enhancing user experience. These include a spam-free network, national Wi-Fi roaming, intranet fiber TV, anytime SIM kiosks for convenient SIM purchases, direct-to-device services, public safety and disaster relief measures, and the introduction of the first private 5G network in mines.
The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Minister of State for Communications and Rural Development Dr. P. Chandrasekhar, the Secretary of Telecommunications, and senior officials from various departments related to telecommunications.
