Bomb threats to multiple CRPF schools after Rohini blast

Several CRPF schools across the country, including two in Delhi and one in Hyderabad, were hit with bomb threats via email on Monday night, raising fresh security concerns. These threats come just two days after a powerful explosion rocked the premises of a CRPF school in Rohini, Delhi. Authorities are now scrambling to investigate the nature of these warnings, which have caused alarm in educational institutions across multiple states.

According to sources, the first threat was received by a CRPF school in Tamil Nadu. Following this, an alert was issued to all affiliated schools nationwide. The Delhi Police have since been on high alert, especially given the surge in bomb threats directed at Indian airlines in the past week, totaling over 100. Fortunately, police in Rohini have dismissed the most recent school threats as hoaxes, but concerns remain high.

The explosion on Sunday in Rohini's Prashant Vihar left a significant impact, quite literally. The blast damaged nearby shops and vehicles, punching a hole in the school’s outer wall. However, there were no casualties or injuries reported. The extent of the damage has alarmed local residents and raised questions about the current state of school security.

Further complicating the situation is the involvement of a pro-Khalistani group, which has claimed responsibility for the Rohini explosion via a post on Telegram. Delhi Police are actively working to track down the origins of this post, reaching out to the social media platform for information. This has added a serious dimension to what was initially perceived as a localized incident.

The surge in bomb threats comes at a time when Indian airlines are also on edge, having faced over 100 bomb threats in recent days. With both schools and airlines being targeted, authorities are working to determine if these threats are connected and what the larger intent may be. The fear now is that such threats, whether hoaxes or not, may be part of a more widespread campaign to cause panic and disruption.

As the investigation continues, law enforcement agencies are urging citizens and institutions to remain calm but vigilant. While the latest bomb threats may not be credible, the underlying message of insecurity is clear, leaving many to wonder what might be coming next.
