SC halts mosque survey orders, restricts lower courts in pending cases
Ratan Tata, the esteemed 86-year-old former chairman of Tata Sons, has clarified recent media reports regarding his alleged hospitalization due to a drop in blood pressure, deeming them "unfounded." According to the reports, Tata was said to have been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai in the early hours on Monday after experiencing a significant health scare. Speculations suggested he was brought in critical condition and placed in the Intensive Care Unit under the supervision of a specialized medical team led by cardiologist Dr. Sharukh Aspi Golwalla.
In response to the rumors, Ratan Tata took to social media platform X to address the public directly. He emphasized that while he is undergoing routine medical check-ups due to his age and related health considerations, there is "no cause for concern." He expressed gratitude for the public's concern but urged everyone to refrain from spreading misinformation about his health. "I remain in good spirits," he stated, ensuring his well-being to those worried about him.
Recently, Ratan Tata was honored with the KISS Humanitarian Award 2021, recognizing his significant contributions to social development and philanthropic initiatives. The award ceremony, held at his residence in Mumbai, celebrated Tata’s lifelong commitment to community service and leadership.
