A tragic accident occurred in the Maltipur area under Chanchal police station on Wednesday, resulting in the death of 19-year-old college student Abul Hasan. He was on his way to take his second-semester exam at Pipla College in Harischandrapur when the incident took place.
Abul Hasan, a resident of the Maina Checkpost area under Itahar police station in North Dinajpur district, was a second-year student at Chanchal College. Reports indicate that while riding his bike to the exam, he collided with another motorcycle in the Maltipur area. Following the collision, he fell under the wheels of a dumper, which tragically led to his death at the scene.
Upon receiving the news of the incident, the Chanchal police station officials quickly arrived at the site, took custody of the body, and arranged for a post-mortem examination. The dumper driver was arrested along with the vehicle and taken to the police station for further investigation.
