Gujarat’s Rhea Singha crowned Miss Universe India 2024

In a dazzling finale held on September 22 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, Rhea Singha from Gujarat was crowned Miss Universe India 2024. The 19-year-old beauty stood out among 51 finalists, earning the opportunity to represent India at the global Miss Universe pageant set to take place in Mexico. Rhea, an actress and an undergraduate student of performing arts, combines her academic pursuits with a budding career as a fashion designer, showcasing her unique blend of cultural and modern elements.

Following her victory, Rhea expressed immense gratitude, stating, "Today I won the title of Miss Universe India 2024. I am so thankful. I have done so much work to get to this level where I can consider myself worthy enough for this crown. I am so inspired by the previous winners." Her stunning performance, including a shimmering peach-golden dress for the finale and a striking metallic red bikini for the swimsuit round, captivated both the judges and the audience.

The event was graced by Miss Universe India 2015, Urvashi Rautela, who crowned Rhea with a special Taj Mahal crown, sharing her hopes for India to reclaim the Miss Universe title.
