Yashasvi Jaiswal stole the spotlight on Day 1 of the 1st Test against Bangladesh in Chennai, scoring a vital 56 runs off 118 balls. With nine boundaries, Jaiswal showcased his flair and resilience, helping India reach 133 for 4 by the end of their innings.

After winning the toss, Bangladesh opted to bowl first, and their pacer Hasan Mahmud struck early, dismissing Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Virat Kohli. India found itself in a tough spot at 88 for 3 at lunch, but Jaiswal’s aggressive batting turned the tide.
