Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate six Vande Bharat Express trains at a grand ceremony at Tatanagar railway station in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, tomorrow. These new express trains will enhance connectivity within the state.
In addition to the train launch, the event will unveil several key railway projects in Jharkhand and include housing installments under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that 113,400 houses have been approved under PMAY for Jharkhand. He noted that while the central share has been sent to the state government, only 20,000 approval letters have been issued so far. The Prime Minister will initiate the first installment for these houses, which will be transferred to eligible accounts once the formalities are completed.
In addition to the train inauguration, Prime Minister Modi will address a public meeting at Gopal Maidan in Jamshedpur. Before the meeting, he will hold a 1.5-km-long road show from Voltas Roundabout to Gopal Maidan.
