Jammu and Kashmir hit by 5.8 magnitude earthquake, no casualties reported
Amid the deadlock outside the Swasthya Bhawan, West Bengal Chief Secretary Manoj Pant has invited 12-15 members delegation for talks at Nabanna. In his letter, Pant asked the junior doctors to meet at Nabanna by 6 pm. Taaza TV has reported that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will be present at the meeting.
This comes hours after the protesting junior doctors wrote to the CM seeking a meeting. However, they demanded that a 30-member delegation will meet the CM. Earlier on Tuesday, an email was sent inviting 10 people for a meeting, a request which the junior doctors denied.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court had asked the protesting doctors in Kolkata to end their agitation and return to work. However, the doctors defied the court's deadline on Tuesday and continued with their agitation.
