Speeding bus mows down pedestrian at MG Road more, driver flee
The West Bengal government has expelled five medical students from the North Bengal Medical College with immediate effect. In the notice, the government said that the terms of the decision were taken in paragraph 4(d) of the resolutions taken in the College Council Meeting.
The five students were also asked to vacate the hostel of the North Bengal Medical College and exit the campus. The expulsion comes amid the ongoing protests against the RG Kar rape and murder case.
A day ago, the Supreme Court issued a deadline of 5 pm on Tuesday following which disciplinary action can be taken on those doctors who do not resume the work.
