In a notable shift in the rankings of India's highest tax-paying celebrities, Kareena Kapoor has emerged as the leading female taxpayer for 2024. Kapoor's impressive tax contributions have surpassed those of her peers, including Deepika Padukone, who had held the top spot in previous years.
Kareena with her films, endorsements, and business ventures has paid a massive amount in taxes, surpassing all her female counterparts including Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt.
As per the list, the Crew star paid tax of Rs 20 crore. Kareena is followed by her Good Newzz co-star Kiara Advani, who paid Rs 12 crore in taxes. The third Bollywood actress to feature in the list is Katrina Kaif, who paid Rs 11 crore. They were the only three female celebrity to feature in the list this year.
