Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat recently delivered a notable address at the 'Vedsevak Sanman Sohala,' an award ceremony organized by the Sadguru Group. Bhagwat made a striking observation that while evil forces may grow larger across the globe, they face declines in India, where "we perform their last rites." This statement highlights his perspective on India's unique role in countering global negative influences and preserving cultural values.
In his speech, Bhagwat discussed the pervasive nature of evil forces and their impact on various societies. He stated, "Evil Forces exist globally, with their evil acts occurring everywhere. Bangladesh is not the first case. The first case is America. I read a book by an American author titled Cultural Development of America, which discusses the cultural degradation in America over the last 100 years. This degradation was replicated in Poland, then spread to Arab countries during the Arab Spring, and recently it happened in Bangladesh." Bhagwat emphasized that these negative trends are not isolated but part of a broader pattern of cultural decline that he believes has affected multiple regions over time.
Further, Bhagwat criticized those who seek to assert their dominance globally and propagate divisive tendencies for their own benefit, stating, "Those who seek to tighten their grip on the world and believe they are the only ones who are right--while others are wrong--are the ones who promote these divisive tendencies for their own benefit." His comments reflect a deep concern about the spread of divisive ideologies and a reaffirmation of India's role in opposing such negative influences. The address serves as both a warning and a call to uphold cultural and moral integrity in the face of global challenges.
