A major fire broke out early this morning at a paper godown in the board mill located in Patipukur's Bidhanpally. The blaze started around 4 AM, prompting locals to alert the Laketown police station and the fire brigade.
Ten fire engines were swiftly deployed to the scene, working tirelessly to bring the fire under control. Senior police officials and Fire Minister Sujit Bose arrived at the site to oversee the firefighting efforts.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and no casualties have been reported so far. However, the godown is completely burnt with materials inside the warehouse turning into ashes.
