In West Burdwan, the protest march began at Rabindra Bhavan, BNR Mor, Asansol, and made its way to the District Magistrate’s office. The protesters were stopped by a three-tier police barricade, leading to a clash when they attempted to breach the barricade. The situation escalated, spreading tension across the area.
Similarly, in Bankura, BJP workers marched from Bankura Hindu High School Maidan towards the District Magistrate’s office, demanding justice.
