In a recent administrative reshuffle, the West Bengal government has reassigned three senior IAS officers. IAS Manoj Pant has been appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Irrigation and Waterways Department. His new role will involve overseeing crucial water management projects and ensuring the effective functioning of irrigation systems across the state.
IAS Roshni Sen has been given the responsibility of heading the Fisheries, Aquaculture, Aquatic Resources, and Fishing Harbour Department. In addition to this, she will serve as the Chairman and Managing Director of the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC) and as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Water Resources, Investigation, and Development Department. She will also be the Project Director of the ADMI Project.
IAS Prabhat Kumar Mishra has been assigned the role of Additional Chief Secretary of the Finance Department. Additionally, he will take on the responsibilities of the Department of Planning and Statistics.
