In a shocking incident in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, the body of a three-year-old girl named Misti was found stuffed inside a suitcase, leading police to arrest her mother, Kajal. The investigation revealed a disturbing motive—Kajal allegedly killed her daughter after being influenced by episodes of the popular TV show Crime Patrol.
Kajal, who had been in an extramarital relationship for the past two years, confessed to the crime during police questioning. She wanted to leave her husband and move in with her boyfriend, but the boyfriend refused to accept her daughter. Conflicted and desperate, Kajal decided to take her daughter’s life by slitting her throat and disposing of the body in a red trolley suitcase, which she dumped in nearby bushes.
The incident came to light when Misti’s body was discovered in Minapur, shaking the entire locality. A Special Investigation Team was formed to probe the case, and forensic experts found traces of blood in the family’s home. Kajal had attempted to clean up the crime scene but left behind crucial evidence.
Muzaffarpur’s city police chief, Awadhesh Dixit, confirmed the details and stated that Kajal acted alone, drawing inspiration from Crime Patrol to carry out the murder. While police have found no evidence linking the boyfriend to the crime, the investigation continues.
