Darjeeling zoo first in India to house both Siberian and White tigers
A heavy rush of devotees at the ISKCON temple in Patna on Monday evening during the Janmashtami festival led to a stampede-like situation, according to a police officer. Some devotees may have suffered minor injuries as crowds surged, with video clips circulating on social media showing security personnel trying to manage the onrushing crowd. A few devotees fell to the ground but were quickly assisted by security.
The city administration later clarified that there was no stampede, stating, "Mild force was used to check those devotees who tried to enter the temple premises by breaking police barricades. The situation is completely under control."
